(NEW YORK) Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy are on a cinematic roll. In March, the sisters announced a costume collaboration project for Darren Aronofsky’s The Swan, starring one of their muses Natalie Portman. And as it turns out, they have also costumed actors for Bastard, a Tribeca Film Festival competition short directed by one of their best friends, Kirsten Dunst. “Kate and Laura pretty much styled and chose costumes on the set,” the actress and director told The Daily. “The colors for the film required a very specific color palette and the girls also had a very special input in Juno Temple’s look because her character is so quirky. It was just so incredible to work with both of them in this manner.”  The Bastard premieres on April 23 at the Festival. “I’m definitely flying in,” said Dunst, who’s currently shooting Upside Down in Montreal. “It’s a Friday, so it works out beautifully for a great weekend.”
