(NEW YORK) Jazz notables Lena Horne and Billie Holliday served as the inspiration for Mark Badgley and James Mischka’s fall collection, and the results were evident in the extravagant designs that graced their runway. A pearl crystal cut sequin and glass hand-beaded gown with trumpet skirt was a standout, easily making the transition from a bride on her big day to the dance floor at the reception. The jewel-encrusted gowns over silk chiffon, lace, and silk crepe were a picturesque postcard of designs created for brides with pure personality.-
