Milk and Whiskey

Comments | | Print

(NEW YORK) The Earnest Sewn décor is showcased in the brand's West Village, Lower East Side, and (upcoming) Los Angeles stores, but the look is about to take on a slightly more unexpected space: Milk Digital, a full service digital production house and part of Milk Studios. Milk Digital is launching a whiskey lounge as part of Milk Studios’ 10th anniversary, and Earnest Sewn’s Scott Morrison has taken the reins to design a space more his style than the average sterile environment typically found in digital facilities. In addition to offering beer on tap and a hand-selected variety of whiskeys, the studio will hide all evidence of modern technology with rustic touches like a sliding barn door (which opens to reveal a large flat-screen TV that allows clients to preview what is being photographed in their studios), British furniture, industrial fixtures from the early 1900s, and wood panels reclaimed from a library in Pennsylvania.
