Damien Hirst’s Greatest Vertu

Comments | | Print

(NEW YORK) Not everyone can own a diamond encrusted skull, but everyone wants a piece of Damien Hirst’s aesthetic. The star artist is rumored to be collaborating on a project with Vertu, purveyor of wildly expensive luxe handcrafted mobile phones with jeweled buttons and other uber-pricey details. The brand celebrated their 10th anniversary this year, introducing The Monogram Constellation collection made from fine grain leather. The brand already has a signature diamond collection, which Hirst surely appreciates.  If this project comes to fruition, we're betting that scores of billionaires from here to Moscow will storm the waiting lists. And we thought the Levi’s collection cost a pretty penny!
