(NEW YORK) Despite the draw of fans Liv Tyler and Scarlett Johansson’s names downtown at Free Arts NYC, Calvin Klein lured a star-studded lineup of guests to help kick off Safe Horizon’s 12th-annual Champion Awards luncheon on May 10. Joining Francisco Costa for cocktails at his flagship Madison Avenue store were event co-hosts Claire Danes, Stephanie March, and Malaak Compton-Rock—all clad in sleek Calvin Klein Collection designs—not to mention Bobby Flay, Joey Lawrence, Fabian Basabe, Genevieve Jones, and models Valeriya Avdeyeva, Julia Stegner, and Suvi. “It’s a bit nostalgic,” admitted Danes of her relationship with the iconic American fashion house as she took in a preview of Costa’s fall designs, while clad in a cement cotton silk jacquard furan dress from the upcoming season, natch. “I’ll always remember the Calvin dress I wore to the Met almost two years ago tonight.” Costa hosts a trunk show at the store through Wednesday.
