(NEW YORK) Nothing gets between Mario Lopez and his Calvins. “I’m wearing the cologne, the underwear and the suit--I’m a big fan,” said the actor and former Saved By the Bell hunk, who’s starring on Broadway in "A Chorus Line." Lopez was one of several celebs attending a cocktail party at the Calvin Klein Collection’s Madison Avenue flagship on Monday night, which helped kick off the 13th annual Champion Awards Luncheon benefiting Safe Horizon. The event, which will be held on May 8 at 69th Regiment Armory, benefits victims of violence and abuse.

Hosted by Francisco Costa and Safe Horizon’s junior council, the fete drew a chic crowd, which included Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Cheyenne Jackson, May Andersen, Kathryn Neale, Olivia Chantecaille, Antony Todd, and Euan Rellie. “It’s our store so I like to think I’m the host,” said Costa, who just returned from a European jaunt. “I was in five cities in six days-- Brussels, Antwerp, Povo-Trento, Prato and Florence.” Meanwhile, Bensimon couldn’t help but rave about Costa’s designs. “I’m loving this collection, it’s his hottest one ever,” she gushed, browsing through his pieces. “These shorts are really short, but somehow they don’t feel too short. They feel like an outfit--a hot outfit.”

Costa, is in the midst of working on his upcoming Cruise collection and planning the brand’s 40th anniversary celebration. Additionally, he’ll be dressing and accompanying a few of his famous fans to the upcoming Costume Institute gala. “We have Liv Tyler and Fergie coming with us, along with a few others,” he revealed to The Daily. “I’m busy with all good things!”
