If Coco Rocha's facebook page is to be believed, the model is getting hitched! Rocha's relationship status changed late last night to Engaged to James Conran. Who's is the lucky man, Chic wonders? Conran is an interior designer (he did Coco's apartment!), painter and muralist who was born in England but moved to the States in the mid-90s; he and the model have been dating since summer. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Nima Taherzadeh Fall 2010 Nima Taherzadeh Fall 2010

One of the quiet treasures of this past New York Fashion Week was undoubtedly Nima Taherzadeh, whose Fall 2010 collection had Saks buyers swooning and his faithful lady consumers itching with excitement. Since Nina makes some of the most desirable jackets around, his faithful fan base wouldn’t expect anything less. His latest effort was thoroughly inspired by Lauren Hutton’s elegant and cosmopolitan essence.  The mostly cream and noir palette perfectly complemented his beautifully cut jackets, playful leggings, and effortless tops. His beautifully executed mink dress was perhaps one of beast individual fur pieces of the whole season, and that’s an accomplishment considering that the runways were overflowing with animals in every major city. Nima is a name that should most definitely be on your radar as one of the few young rising designers with spectacular career potential.

Aww alert! Dolce & Gabbana's pre-show video consisted of a black-and-white look at the brand's atelier as they fit several models, made musklins, cut fabric, and otherwise prepared the collection--and the theme focused on the employees, rather than the designers. Before the first model hit the runway, the atelier assembled together, and their faces provided the backdrop for the first few looks.

We Knew It Was The Celebs' Fault!

At Dolce & Gabbana, 22 big-screen TVs hung above the seating areas, playing backstage footage before and during the show. The models were all ready to go even before editors arrived--but the show started 33 minutes late because the celebs like Ashley Greene needed their sweet, sweet time to indulge the photogs. Meanwhile, the models stood around looking bored.
