Just three months after opening its first U.S. boutique in Bal Harbour, Florida, Lanvin has landed at the Crystals at CityCenter shopping destination in Las Vegas--and the shop is just as joyous as you might imagine (click gallery for a virtual tour, but prepare to covet tout!). And while several of our Chic Reporters are currently bound for Paris--and will almost certainly make a quick stop at 22, rue du Faubourg St Honoré--we have one request for Alber: New York next, s'il vous plait!

It's Faux Time

Designer Linda Kostowski’s “realfakewatches” are deliciously misleading. The wristwatches only work for one minute every day (two for analog watches), and each is laser cut from three pieces of leather and fastened with Velcro. Each watch comes with a unique time, and so for at least one minute a day you are guaranteed not to be late. The other 1,439 minutes? You’re on your own. Our latest gilt-y obsession? The Fendi Peekaboo bag, outfitted in 24 karat gold python skin. The ultra-luxe bag celebrates the launch of Fendi’s new store in Crystals in Las Vegas’ MGM Center. Fendi also unveiled the Trevi Fountain Peekaboo bag, and there are only 20 of these babies in existence; each carryall is adorned with a special numbered gold plate inside. While the Trevi Fountain bag costs a cool $4,550, the golden Peekaboo bag will run you $36,500, which will undoubtedly feed your need for all things Fendi.

Sometimes in life you might feel utterly and completely geographically blessed. That how we feel here at Chic Report these days. First, Spin NYC became our neighbor and more recently, Press (a new wrap phenomenon), has joined our party here at Flatiron. How special can a wrap place be? Quite special. Our favorite lunch consists of freshly pressed wraps (in four different flavors) that are filled by the ingredients of our very own choosing. And there is plenty to choose from: grilled veggies, amazing angus steak, guacamole, Asian slaw, fried onions, zucchini, crispy onions and countless of other homemade goodies. And the line is meticulously clean and well organized. Press also boasts delicious homemade lemonade and the best Oreo cookie mousse you’ll probably ever try. Enough said! No need to ring the alarm--Lady has not found herself behind bars. However, the dark minds at Gigwise dreamed up what Lady Gaga, Robert Pattinson, Natalie Portman, and others would look like in their glamour mug shot. A bit grisly? Perhaps. But even if bludgeoned and bruised, we’re positive Gaga would strike a pose.

For the second straight year Graydon Carter is hosting his amazing annual celeb orgy (ok Vanity Fair Oscar bash) at Sunset Tower Hotel immediately following the ceremony. And you know what that means! The list will be tighter and the room will be absolutely crowded with everyone your mom actually recognizes.
